SFind Commander — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-09-30 ·

Summary

SFind Commander is a desktop file manager. Your files, file names and search index never leave your computer. We do not run analytics or tracking.

Data stored on your computer only

• Search index (file names, sizes, dates) — %APPDATA%\SFind Commander\index.cache
• Settings, favorites, FTP sites (FTP passwords are encrypted with Windows DPAPI)
• Uninstaller backups (.reg exports) created before removing leftovers

Network connections the app makes

• License activation/validation — when you enter a license key, and about once a week afterwards, the app sends the license key, a license instance ID and your computer name to our payment provider Lemon Squeezy (privacy policy) to confirm the license is valid.
• Update check — at start-up the app downloads a small version file from our website. No personal data is sent.
• Features you start yourself — FTP connections, network drives, "Search online" buttons and store/help links go only where you direct them.

Purchases

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy (merchant of record). We receive your name, e-mail and order details to deliver and support your license. We never see your card number.

Your choices

Deactivate the license (Help → License) to release this computer. Delete %APPDATA%\SFind Commander to remove all local data. For questions or deletion requests, contact us at tkoyb03@gmail.com.

SFind Commander

APPDATA%\SFind Commander\index.cache
